Gazelle ISF
UB40 x Rabiola (Metall)

Picture
Gazelle is a 2011 KWPN mare by FEI dressage horse and successful sire UB40 and out of the "Queen of Devon", Rabiola. Gazelle will be starting her career as a dressage horse in 2015 and will be bred via embryo transfer. Watch for her foals for sale and for her in the show ring! She is a tall, leggy, athletic, uphill, mare, with a very long, elegant neck. With the consistency of her pedigree, she should pass these things on to her foals.

Helena Lusa
Rousseau x Faible (Fidermark/Renoir I)

Picture
Helena is a 2012 KWPN mare who is both a dressage prospect and a future broodmare. She has a great shoulder, correct hip triangle, and is a big filly, standing 16 hands at just two years old.

Jamerra Lusa
Negro x Faible (Fidermark/Renoir I)

Picture
Jamerra is a 2014 KWPN filly from Legacy USA Equestrian.  We have high hopes for her in the dressage ring, but until then, she will be turned out with our pesky gang of bright and mischievous fillies to do what babies do best-- random canter pirouettes, tempi changes, and airs above the ground in the pasture while jumping bushes and harassing any dog or pony within reach! She will be shipped to us after weaning. All photos courtesy of Legacy USA Equestrian. Thank you to Jennifer Moskal and her beautiful poodle for providing them. :-)

Briarfair Boojum*/_/_
Nat. Ch. Bristol Encore x Bristol Sun Burst (Nat. Ch. Bristol Sun God)

Picture
Boojum is a 12.3 hand 2010 Section B Welsh pony mare and Premium International Sport Pony. She was 4th high score ISR/Oldenburg mare in the Mid-West region, including both horses and ponies. Boojum's sire was National Champion Junior Stallion and her dam's sire was National Champion Section B Stallion and supreme champion many times, as well as a successful riding and driving pony. Boojum was bred to multi-National Champion and successful combined driving stallion Gayfield's Call the Cops and produced an excellent 2014 filly.  Boojum will be started over fences and will be looking for a junior rider to show her. Our plan is then to breed her to elite warmblood stallions in the hope of producing high quality FEI ponies.

Saltadora

Picture
Saltadora is a 16.2 hand, unfortunately unpapered, Hanoverian. She has lovely movement with a huge stride, free shoulder, and abundant suspension. Her haunches are nothing short of gigantic and she is very naturally balanced. She has tremendous scope in the free jumping chute as well, despite being a dressage horse. She received the very high score of 106 at her 2011 ISR/Oldenburg inspection, which would place her in the Premium mare book if her pedigree were able to be proven. Since, as the judge joked in good humor to the audience, "She is by the FAMOUS stallion, 'Unknown'...", she was admitted into the Pre-Mare book.
Saltadora is the dam of Kalandraka, a 2012 filly by Caravagio, available on the For Sale page.

Past Mares

Sweet Victory RLB  (RIP 2003 to 2014)

RSD Dark Victory x East Harlem's Rose (by WC Harlem Globetrotter)

Picture
"Sweetie" was a very beautiful National Show Horse mare by the esteemed stallion RSD Dark Victory and out of a successful mare by World Champion Harlem Globetrotter. Her dam has produced two national champion half arabians and was herself 3rd under saddle at the American Saddlebred World Championship show.
Sweetie was a hair under 16 hands and was an incredible mover with a great mind to match. She had correct form over fences and was brave. She scored a very respectable 102 at her ISR/Oldenburg inspection which would have put her into the Main Mare Book if she were a warmblood mare. She was admitted instead into the Mare Book, based on percentage of approved blood.

Sweetie is the dam of both Rodellar by Rubignon (Rubinstein I) and Holey Moley by Wild Dance (Wolkenstein II). We lost Sweetie in 2014 to complications from an accident that happened two years prior.

SOLD: Lansdowne

Landavi x Princess Grey Eagle

Picture
Lansdowne is by the Holsteiner stallion Landavi. Landavi was shown through Grand Prix over fences and was later shown successfully through 4th level in dressage. She has a strong genetic propensity for jumping through line breeding to Cor De La Bryere.

Her dam was the saddlebred mare Princess Grey Eagle from a long line of athletic, correct, saddlebreds who do have the extreme movement of a modern saddlebred, but possess large, correctly-angled, hips, broad chests, and substantial bone to go with it.

Lansdowne has been inspected and branded as a First Premium mare in the American Warmblood Registry.

She is the dam of Ay Caramba, a 2012 half Arabian filly by Caravagio and also Caramba's 2014 full brother.
